Jubilee tea invitation for diamond wedding couples

Otley’s new mayor is extending a special Royal Diamond Jubilee invite to residents.
Councillor Mary Vickers (Lib Dem, Prince Henry) is keen for anyone celebrating their own 60th anniversary this year to be treated to a jubilee tea party in July.
Couples from Otley, Guiseley, Rawdon or Yeadon whose diamond wedding anniversary falls between January 1, 2012 and February 28, 2013 are invited to attend.
The invitation is also being extended to anyone born in Otley in June, 1952.
The event is at Lady Close, on Farnley Lane, Otley on Wednesday, July 18.
Anybody wishing to attend should call Otley Town Council on (01943) 466335, or send an e-mail to admin@otleytowncouncil.gov.uk, as soon as possible.
