Ugly bugs have a ball at school
Children in Pool-in-Wharfedale have been acting thoroughly beastly – with their teacher's blessing.
Year 1 pupils at Pool C of E Primary School dressed up as all kinds of mini-beasts, including spiders, bees and frogs, for an Ugly Bug Ball.
Parents enjoyed watching the children dance to a selection of music including Flight Of The Bumblebee, Creepy Crawlies, and Itchy Things.
The ball was part of Year 1's learning topic about small creatures and their life cycles.
