4:38pm Wednesday 23rd May 2012 in Local news By Jim Jack
The funeral of Otley Neighbourhood Watch chairman Barry Tayler, who has died suddenly, is to be held at Rawdon Crematorium.
Mr Tayler, who was 65, died from a heart attack he suffered in the early hours of Monday, May 21, at his Otley home.
His shocked family said he had been in good health, and that his death was "very sudden and completely unexpected".
A funeral service for Mr Tayler, who was a former Bramhope & Carlton Parish Councillor and a member of Steeton Male Voice Choir, will take place at Rawdon Crematorium at 11.40am on Thursday, May 31.
His family, wife Jean, daughter Jane and son Paul, are asking for family flowers only, but donations can be made to the Otley children's charity Hang On to a Dream.
