POLICE are appealing for witnesses to a crash in which one Otley teenager was killed and two others injured.
The accident happened on the A660 Ilkley Road, between Otley and Burley-in-Wharfedale, at 11pm last night (Monday) night, when a blue Ford Ka left the road, collided with a tree and ended up in a ditch.
One of the passengers in the car, a 17-year-old boy from Otley, died at the scene. The driver, an 18-year-old youth from Otley, was taken to Leeds General Infirmary (LGI) where he his condition is described as stable'.
The second passenger, also an 18-year-old youth from Otley, was taken to LGI and later transferred to St James Hospital, Leeds, where he is also said to be stable'.
The identities of the people involved in the accident have not yet been released.
