OTLEY'S former Town Mayor has handed out cheques to three children's hospices.
Councillor Nigel Francis (Ind, Danefield) raised more than £31,000 for his 14+1 appeal during his 2017-18 mayoral year.
He recently presented cheques for £1,000 apiece to three of the charities that the appeal supported - the Forget Me Not, Bluebell Wood and Martin House hospices.
Cllr Francis said: "We are looking at doing more fundraising with them all in the future."
The presentation took place at the Forget Me Not children's hospice's base in Huddersfield.
