KNIGHTS and maidens have been serving beer in Otley as part of this week's St George's Day celebrations.
The Otley Tavern marked the occasion a day early by holding a themed event on Sunday, April 22.
Some customers attired in historic costumes helped serve on the day while the pub gave out free servings of home-made stew and shots of spirits.
Entertainment was also provided by Tony Myers and Otley band The Names.
Landlord of The Otley Tavern, Peter Jackson, said: "The day was enjoyed by many and our knights were out and about in Otley again on Monday to celebrate on the actual St George's Day to keep the tradition going.
"I would like to thank all those who came."
