OTLEY'S Bellman will be putting his powerful voice to different use in Yeadon next week.
Terry Ford, who won the National Town Crier competition for Otley this year, is also a trained baritone singer and a veteran of many theatrical shows.
Mr Ford is President of Yeadon Amateur Operatic and Dramatic Society, too, and will be singing solo for the group at its annual Christmas Concert on Friday, December 15.
The show begins at Yeadon Town Hall at 7.30pm and will also feature other soloists, the society's Christmas Chorus, children from the Peace Dance Academy and Otley Brass Band.
Mr Ford said: "It promises to be yet another wonderful evening of Christmas fun, where all ages come together to enjoy some merry melodies and traditional carols and generally just get into the true spirit of Christmas.
"We would love it if you could join us!"
Mulled wine and mince pies will be available on the night.
