A LONG established Otley funeral home has been given a revamp and rebrand.

Donald Pickles & Son Funeral Directors, which has been part of the Co-op for 22 years, is now called Otley Funeralcare.

The business's Cross Green base has also been refurbished and a rededication ceremony, attended by local clergy, the Town Mayor and other dignitaries will be held at 3pm on Wednesday, November 22.

Funeral Director Rob Tindall said: "Not everybody is aware that we have been part of the Co-op for so long, and this refurbishment highlights how proud we are of this.

"Our main priority is obviously providing help to families in their time of need.

"We also support the community by using local businesses to help with funerals and letting local charities know about the community fund available through the Co-op membership scheme, as well as general support for community clubs and events."

The funeral home will be open to the public following the rededication event, from 4pm, when staff will be happy to show visitors around and answer questions.

Snacks and refreshments will also be available.
