MEMBERS of Guiseley Art Club enjoyed a demonstration by award-winning artist Robert Dutton.

Mr Dutton is very popular with club members and visitors, and the session on Monday October 9 proved hugely popular.

Club spokeswoman Carol Warneford said: "Robert is very popular with the members and visitors. His style is very contemporary with an exciting freedom of expression using acrylic spray paints, pastels and charcoal. After he has used sharp a piece of charcoal to pick out the details, the maze of colourful marks transform into an amazing painting inspired by the photograph. The afternoon was a delight and full of useful information that Robert always freely gives."

Guiseley Art Club will hold its annual exhibition on Saturday November 4, from 10.30am to 4.30pm and on Sunday, November 5, from 12 noon to 4pm. Fifteen per cent of painting sales will be donated to the 2nd Guiseley Brownies.
