COFFEE and cakes at Yeadon extra care apartments raised hundreds of pounds for charity.
The MacMillan Cancer Support World's Biggest Coffee Morning event took place at Wharfedale View and raised more than £350.
It was organised by Sharon Knott who is keen for the home to become a community hub for older people.
Wharfedale View is seen as a flagship development and is the first scheme of its kind to be built by Leeds City Council.
The World’s Biggest Coffee Morning is Macmillan’s biggest fundraising event for people facing cancer. Last year people all over the country raised a total of £29.5 million by holding individual events.
