A POOL-IN-WHARFEDALE pet feed business has agreed to sponsor a local flyball team.
Wharfedale Woofs won a Divisional Shield in this year's British Flyball Championships and also came close to qualifying for Crufts 2018.
The club consists of dog owners who train their pets for side-by-side dog races that involve jumps and retrieving a 'flyball' from a trigger-release box.
The team needs to buy some electronic timing and training equipment to help its preparations over the winter for next season.
It is being assisted by The Blue Barn, at Pool, which has offered some financial help along with promotional banners, stickers and embroidered clothing.
The club is also supported by Cross Green Vets in Otley.
