WORK has been carried out to build a new footpath in Guiseley and to upgrade another path in the town.
Guiseley and Rawdon councillor Graham Latty said: "I received requests for a footpath to be installed between the Tennysons and the A65 because people had to wade through wet grass and mud to get to the main road. Also for the path from Fieldhead Drive to Back Lane, which was in a dangerous state of disrepair to be repaired and upgraded."
He thanked Leeds City Council's parks staff for their "sterling work", adding: "It took a bit of time but I am sure that it was worth the wait."
