A WHARFEDALE church is seeking help to reclaim its lost 'flock' before Christmas.
Otley Methodist Church is asking residents to search for 32 toy sheep it has placed in the windows of shops and businesses around town.
If found, the sheep - each has its own name - will play an important part in the church's Christingle service at 4pm on December 24.
Otley Methodist Church Minister Reverend Lesley Taylor, Superintendent Minister of the Wharfedale and Aireborough Methodist Circuit, said: "If you spot the sheep please let the church know where they are by filling in one of the answer sheets available at Otley library, the church and at the Victorian Fayre on Sunday, December 4.
"There is a box in the rear foyer of the church on Walkergate for completed answer sheets and there will be a small prize for the first correct set of answers to be drawn out on Christmas Eve.
"Please help us find our lost sheep!"
