A VARIETY of talks will feature in this weekend's Ilkley Complementary Medicine Festival.
The event takes place on Saturday, October 29 and Sunday, October 30 and will see the King's Hall and Winter Garden brimming with natural remedies and complementary therapies.
The event, which runs from 10am to 5pm each day, will also include workshops run by practitioners from across the North of England.
The festival has been running for 28 years and organiser Michael Weaver is looking forward to a weekend 'buzzing' with interesting activities.
He said: "I’m more excited than ever about this Autumn Festival as we have some wonderful products and therapies on the stands and talks all day Saturday and Sunday, which can now be booked online.
"This will hopefully avoid people being disappointed on the day, as many talks prove so popular.
"We have talks on so many fascinating subjects, including a selection that will be given by the Therapists of Ilkley and Yorkshire-based Therapists."
Homeopaths, Bowen Technique practitioners, reflexologists, holistic massage therapists and Alexander Technique teachers will be among those taking part.
Visitors will also get the chance to try 'taster treatments' on either day, and homemade refreshments will be available throughout the weekend.
Admission costs £4.50 - £4 concessions - per day or £7 for a two day pass.
