TWO Ilkley-based businesses, lifestyle webshop Haykin and popular coffee shop, Toast House, are joining forces to hold a pop-up shopping event.

The pop-up shop - on Sunday, November 6 from 10am to 4pm at Toast House, 22 Leeds Road, Ilkley - will be a first for Haykin following the store’s online launch in February this year and for Toast House, a further milestone as it approaches its fourth Christmas.

Haykin, which specialises in goods of colour and simplicity for the home and everyday style, will set-up shop inside Toast House - a space which itself, has become synonymous with great design - giving customers a unique opportunity to shop Haykin’s colourful collection while enjoying Toast House’s celebrated coffee and Sunday brunch treats.

Katy Barraclough, Haykin’s owner, said: “I’ve been a steadfast fan of Toast House since it launched: Natasha and Lisa have created a wonderfully inviting, beautifully designed space which lends itself brilliantly to Haykin’s aesthetic and I’m thrilled to have it as our shop’s first pop-up venue.

“On the day, customers can expect to see a bright yet minimally-designed collection of homewares, gifts, style accessories and jewellery which have all been sourced from independent designers, makers and small brands all over the world. It will be a fun and extremely tasty start to customers’ seasonal shopping!”

The team at Toast House will be offering a selection of baked goods alongside its speciality coffees and teas and, new to its menu, a handpicked selection of natural wines and handmade craft beers.

Lisa Moran, who owns Toast House alongside Natasha Byers, added: “We are delighted to be opening our doors on a Sunday to share the Haykin shopping experience with our customers.”
