ANOTHER step has been taken in creating Rawdon's first permanent garden display.
Rawdon in Bloom have had a large stone, inscribed with their name, set in concrete on land at Over Lane's junction with Larkfield Road.
The surrounding area, meanwhile, is being prepared for the next stage of the scheme which will see half of the site turned into a rockery and permanent planting over most of the area.
Stone and top soil to create the rockery is due to be delivered on Saturday, October 1 - and Rawdon in Bloom would welcome any help on the day.
Anyone interested in assisting should turn up at 10am.
