FLORISTS from Morrisons Yeadon are today (August 25) leaving colourful summer posies in locations across Yeadon for people to pick up and take home.
After a spell of changeable summer holiday weather, Morrisons Yeadon florists are hoping that the jolly posies will help brighten up Yeadon’s Bank Holiday weekend.
The posies are being placed in parks, bus stops and shopping areas for passers by to pick up. They are made from multi-coloured Germini, which look like big, brightly coloured summer daisies.
Jonpaul Davis, Morrisons Yeadon store manager said: "Our florists know how changeable the weather has been this summer and wanted to cheer everyone up. We hope that people who find these brightly-coloured posies across Yeadon will pick them up, take them home, and enjoy having their little splash of warming colour in their house.”
