STUDENTS have made a donation to an Otley charity after holding a stall at the Buttercross.
The group, which is studying the Nidderdale Foundation Programme for Heritage Skills, sold a variety of sweet treats on May 13, as part of their course.
They then handed over a contribution from the proceeds to Otley Action for Older People, who will put it towards their 20th anniversary celebrations later this year.
The charity's treasurer, Arthur Parslow, said: "I think this is a great example of intergenerational working.
"At Otley Action for Older People, we really value the contribution made by these young people."
