TOWN Councillors will discuss nominations for the the Otley Annual Achievement Award when they meet next month.
The award is made to one adult and one young person each year in recognition of their efforts to make a difference to the community during the past 12 months.
The accolade is also given to residents who have overcome adversity or secured an outstanding achievement.
The deadline for receiving nominations has now ended, and a number of suggestions have been made for potential winners of both the under and over-18 categories.
Otley Town Council will weigh up the merits of the nominees at its full council meeting on March 21.
The meeting takes place in the Otley Core Resource Centre in Orchard Gate, from 7pm.
Winners will be revealed in the edition of the Wharfedale Observer following the selection.
