OTLEY'S MP is continuing his support for a push to give England its own national anthem.
Greg Mulholland (Lib Dem, Leeds North West) posed with Labour MP Toby Perkins at Westminster last week beside a banner declaring Let England's Voice Be Heard.
Mr Mulholland is a long-time supporter of the Anthem4England campaign, which believes the country should have its own anthem for sporting events instead of using God Save The Queen, which is the UK's.
He is also backing a bill, recently introduced by Mr Perkins in the House of Commons, which is calling on the Government to ask the pubic which song they think should be adopted.
Mr Mulholland is also asking people to visit https://petition.parliament.uk/petitions/119904 … #England @anthem4england@English_Anthem to sign a petition in support of the proposal.
