BETTYS Café Tea Rooms in Ilkley has raised almost £3,000 for Otley & District Riding for the Disabled.
The £2,893 donation will be used to purchase equipment for a group of adults and children who ride at Draughton Riding Centre. Funds were raised by bingo nights, raffles, gourmet night, sweepstakes and cake bakes.
Judy Olby, of Otley RDA, said: “The money raised will be used to purchase a saddle for one of our ponies which will enable a rider to sit in a better position, as well as adding to the pony’s comfort and balance.”
