Broken down train disrupts Ilkley to Bradford service
A BROKEN down freight train caused disruption to services between Ilkley and Bradford this morning.
Services between Skipton and Leeds were also affected after the train broke down at Thackley Tunnel, near Shipley, at 6.30am.
Northern Rail said some services were cancelled or delayed as trains were temporarily diverted through Baildon.
The stricken train was cleared shortly before 9am and lines were reopened.
