OTLEY will hold its very own literature festival next year.
The Courthouse is holding the event, aimed at lovers of the written and spoken word, from March 3 to March 6, 2016.
All kinds of activities, ranging from a screening of Gone Girl by Otley Film Society to a workshop led by Emmerdale writers Alison Pennells and Matthew Cooper, will be included over the four days.
Other attractions will include an open mic night at Korks Wine Bar, a locked box puzzle game, and a murder mystery evening.
The festival has been designed to build on the success of previous Otley Word Feasts, and a full programme will be available from January, when tickets also go on sale.
The organisers, meanwhile, are asking book lovers to send in a photo of themselves holding their favourite book to feature in an accompanying exhibition.
