A ZOMBIE Apocalypse evening held in Otley has raised more than £3,000 for Martin House Children's Hospice.
The town held its third 'survivors versus walking dead' event, organised by Mel Metcalfe, Emma Cobb Webb, Donna Sayce, Noel Davies-Atack and Richard Hasslett, in August.
The annual attraction, which has helped a variety of good causes since it began, raised £3,067, which was presented to the hospice last week.
Mel said: "We would like to say a big thank you to all who took part, volunteered and helped our event.
"The support has been overwhelming, and because of that, we were able to hand over £3,067 to the wonderful Martin House Children's Hospice."
Mel's daughter, Alice, also handed over some extra money she had raised by selling planters for the hospice.
A Christmas Zombie Curry Night is now being organised by the Zombie Apocalypse organisers at Otley's Red Pepper restaurant to raise funds for next year's event.
