THE appearance of a traditional nomad yurt inside the Christchurch worship area is not a sign of further problems with the roof.
The colourful yurt, which is the property of “Touchstone” - an interfaith outreach organisation based in Bradford – is focal point for the launch of a Year of Listening.
Minister, the Rev Rob Hilton, said: "During the coming 12 months we encourage individuals and groups to find space and listen to each other, our community, the wider world, and, of course God! Anyone is welcome to call and take time out in the yurt to be still and aware. Christchurch worship area is open every day when the church café is open (10am till 4pm Monday to Saturday)."
Christchurch is on The Grove, in Ilkley.
