CLASSIC musical Evita will be performed in Guiseley next week.
Guiseley Amateur Operatic Society says gaining permission to perform the show was "a real coup", as it is rarely offered to amateur groups.
The production, which follows on from the society's successful production of Jesus Christ Superstar last February, runs from Tuesday, October 6 to Saturday, October 10.
The show is being directed by Giles Atkinson and will feature Fiona Lane - in her first major role - as Eva Peron, with Paul Forsberg starring as her husband, Juan, and Paul Matthews playing Che Guevara.
A society spokesman said: "This is a rare chance to see this super show.
"The superb principles are supported by a superb ensemble, whose choral numbers really help to create and communicate the atmosphere and drama of this terrific musical tale."
All of the evening performances start at 7.30pm, while a 2.15pm Saturday matinee will also be held.
Tickets from can be booked by visiting www.gaos.co.uk or calling (0113) 250 6434 or 07502 349325.
