A BOUNCY castle and a prayer station will be among the attractions on offer at a family fun afternoon and faith celebration in Yeadon this weekend.

The event, which also includes healing, craft activities, faith stories, music, singing, face-painting and puppet shows, will take place around Yeadon Tarn Bandstand from 2.30pm onwards on Sunday, June 14.

It is open to the whole community and is being organised by people from a group of local churches who are part of Aireborough Churches Together. The celebration of faith in Jesus will be suitable for all ages. The event will bring together local churches who want to welcome everyone. There will be activities for children and adults and during the afternoon there will also be short acts of worship which will be open to the public. The Rev Richard Walker from St. John's Church, Yeadon, said: "Come and take a look, join in the fun and celebrate."
