OTLEY students have been showing off their creative skills at their school's Design and Technology Show.
Prince Henry's Grammar School pupils put on a dazzling display of furniture and lighting, clothes and textiles to showcase their final products for the AS and A level exams.
A portable fire pit, kitchen islands, and an array of shirts, onesies, shorts and bags were amongst the items on display, while the food and refreshments were provided by Food Technology students.
And an award-winning model Formula 1 'racing car of the future', created by a team of engineering-minded students dubbed Team Velocita, got heads turning when it sped down the centre of the school hall.
Faculty leader of Design Technology and Innovation at Prince Henry's, Alyson Blakeley, said: "This exhibition gives our students the opportunity to show their work in a real life show, which is excellent preparation for their future
careers.
"Many of our ex-students now work in the design industry, which is something we are very proud of.
"This was one of our biggest shows, with many more students studying the subjects at A level.
"You never know, we could be looking at the next Heston Blumenthal, Phillippe Starck or Vivienne Westwood!"
