STILT walkers, musicians and jugglers are preparing to take over the centre of Otley.
The 2015 Otley Street Festival will be held on Sunday, May 3, and also feature Morris dancing, balloon modelling, and an array of live music.
Organised by local traders as a family-focused day of fun, this year’s festival will coincide with the final, Wakefield to Leeds, stage of the first ever Tour de Yorkshire.
Running on Newmarket, Orchard Gate and Market Place from noon, the event will include children’s rides, face painting, picture colouring and entertainment.
The Buttercross Belles, The Jolly Jivers and Bang On will be among the acts while, in the market square, all kinds of entertainers, bands and singers will perform on stage between 12.30pm and 9.30pm.
A festival spokesman said: “This will be a wonderful, memorable day out with free entertainment.”
