LOCAL Sainsbury’s stores raised nearly £3,500 for Comic Relief.
Sainsbury’s Otley brought in £2,358 for the charity, while the company’s Rawdon outlet collected £1,137.
Sainsbury’s Otley’s duty manager, Patrick Morris, said: “We really enjoyed fundraising for Red Nose Day.
“We had fun and raised a fantastic amount for the cause, and would like to thank our customers for supporting us once again.”
Ben Donnachie, store manager for Sainsbury’s Rawdon, added: “This is our first Red Nose Day fundraising.I would like to thank every one of our customers for joining in and making this a huge success.”
