TOP tips on how to show horses and ponies will be shared at Huby next week.
Organised by the Weeton Show committee, the event takes place at Almscliffe Village Hall from 7pm on Friday, March 6.
It will be led by respected pony breeder and judge Kim Money, of Millford Stud, and is aimed at all levels of horse and pony showing, including complete beginners.
Horse secretary for Weeton Show, Lesley Waddington, said: “We want to encourage everyone with a pony or horse to give showing a go.
“It can be daunting on the first few outings but Kim will be taking us through the pre-show preparation, what to wear, and how to present your pony in its best light.”
The evening will include a live demonstration and conclude with a question and answer session. Tickets cost £5 each in advance, or four for £15, and can be booked at weetonshow.co.uk. Admission on the night will cost £6.
