FIRST aid charity St John Ambulance has revealed nearly four-fifths of parents in Yorkshire and the Humber do not know how to save a baby from choking, despite four in ten having witnessed such an incident.
The research shows that 78 per cent of people would not know what to do.
It also showed the majority of parents, 61 per cent, name choking children as their greatest first aid fear and feel knowing first aid would help them feel better prepared.
