Problems caused by closures
RESURFACING work on the busy A65 road between The Fox public house roundabout in Menston and Burley-in-Wharfedale roundabout overran due to technical problems and the bad weather.
The road was closed on Monday between 9.30am and 3.30pm. Diversions were put in place via the A6038 and A660.
A spokesman for Bradford Council said: “We are sorry if anyone is inconvenienced by the extra day’s work but we need to get this work right.”
