A LIFELONG Otley resident has celebrated her 100th birthday.
Lucy Moxon marked the occasion on Tuesday, October 7, with a family party at Teal Beck House.
Mrs Moxon, a travel-loving great-grandmother, has lived been a resident at the Anchor care home since last May.
Home manager Karen Coady said: “At Lucy’s great age she still enjoys going out for drives on the moor with her two sons, John and Martin, and having an ice cream while taking in the views.
“In years gone by she went on many holidays including to Australia, the Italian Lakes, and the Isle of Man - and she still enjoys looking at pictures of those times with her large family of grandchildren and great-grandchildren.”
