Preparation works are starting this week before planned improvements between the two main railway stations in Bradford are carried out.
The plans at Forster Square, which is served by trains on the Wharfedale line, include the replacement of the existing uneven paving with new, high quality natural stone paving; and improvements to the planted areas including new trees being planted, new lighting and new street furniture. The station ramp will be closed to pedestrians while work is taking place, with an alternative flat route connecting Forster Square station to Lower Kirkgate
