Cubs cleaned up the town as part of the 'do one thing' scout Community Week.
The 16th Airedale reed cub pack at Yeadon Methodist church collected more than 25 bags of rubbish and cleared overgrown shrubbery on a path near Rivoli Pizzeria.
The youngsters were rewarded for their trouble when the chef at the restaurant was so impressed by their efforts that he donated pizzas for them to enjoy back at the scout hut.
In the weeks running up to last week's community clean up the cubs were out and about in Yeadon highlighting areas that needed attention.
Assistant Cub Scout Leader Gavin Birkett met Labour Parliamentary Candidate Alex Sobel who agreed to help organise a clean up.The Cubs leaders and parents tackled the public steps on Ivegate. The cubs were helped by Alex Sobel who provided gloves, litter pickers and bags.
The 16th Airedale scouts group meets at Yeadon Methodist church and is always looking for new members aged between six and 25.
