An estate agent is celebrating the opening of its new Otley offices by offering some Tour de France themed prizes.

Hunters Otley opened its doors on the corner of Kirkgate for the first time on Monday, June 9.

To mark the occasion, and the forthcoming visit of the Tour de France, the firm has teamed up with fellow Otley business Chevin Cycles to offer customers a chance of winning a bicycle worth up to £500.

Owner of Hunters Otley and Ilkley, Lester Hurst, said: "Chevin Cycles is a well established independent business in Otley.

"I thought this would be a great opportunity to join forces and I would just like to thank Sanjai for helping us launch with a bang.

"As well as the chance to win a bike, we also have free Tour de Hunters jerseys to be given away, designed exclusively to celebrate Le Tour."

Director of Chevin Cycles, Sanjai Bhatia, added: "I am delighted to be collaborating with one of the UK’s leading estate agents, and the timing is just perfect with Hunters opening their office just weeks before Le Tour rides through

town."Now is a great time to be a business in Otley."

Nicole Wood, meanwhile, has joined the Hunters Otley team as sales co-ordinator while Liz MacPherson has been appointed as Mr Hurst's PA.

Mr Hurst said their experience in sales, lettings and property management would be an asset to the company.

He said: "We are investing heavily in Hunters this summer with the aim of giving our customers an improved and more personal experience.

"Recommendation is 60 per cent of our business and is very important to us, which is why we take pride in the excellent feedback we receive from our vendors and landlords across the Wharfe Valley."

Anyone who asks Hunters to sell or let their property during June or July will have a chance of winning a prize.
