A fundraising book written by Otley boy Harry Buckley is now on sale in the town.

Six-year-old Harry, who had been battling a rare form of childhood cancer since 2011, died on Tuesday, April 8.

He had written Runaway Joey, an illustrated account of the adventures of his pet hamster, during his final months with some help from friends.

Copies of the book are on sale for £5 at the Otley Lions bookshop, on Mercury Row.

All proceeds will go to a cause very close to Harry’s heart – animal rescue charity Nuzzlets Farm, which provides a therapeutic service for Martin House Children’s Hospice.

Otley Lions have also made a donation to Nuzzlets to support its work.

Runaway Joey can be bought online, too, at uk.virginmoneygiving.com/HarryBuckleyand friends.
