Craftsman Tools are once again inviting applications from youngsters to join their award winning apprentice training scheme at their facilities based in Otley.

They have recently received national recognition for the training programme, winning “Best Training Scheme” at the recent Manufacturing Technologies Association Awards and finalists in the MWP Advanced Manufacturing Awards.

A spokesman for the company said: “Craftsman are really proud to have achieved so much in the first year since the official training school was established, although the company has taken on many apprentices throughout it’s 60 year history.

"It’s great to know young people are still enthusiastic about engineering and we look forward to recruiting more potential engineers from Otley and the surrounding area, helping to ensure the future of the company and UK manufacturing.”

To join the scheme email g.newall@craftsmantools.com or call (01943) 466788.
