North Yorkshire libraries are taking part in the annual Spring Online campaign to help local people learn to use computers and get online.
Research has shown that seven million adults in the UK have never used the internet and staff and volunteers at the library are committed to supporting local people take their first step, during Spring Online Week, which starts on Monday.
Local libraries have recently upgraded their public computers and the installation of Wi-Fi which can be accessed free by customers using their portable and mobile devices. To book a one-to-one session or free beginners’ course, contact your local library.
