Judging for our Winter Scenes photographic competition has been done and printed on this spread are the top five images from each category – over 18s and 18 and under.

The judges commended the high quality of entries overall and said it was tough to whittle down more than 200 entries to just ten.

The winner of each category will receive a Panasonic Lumix DMC-TZ40. One runner-up from each age category will win a 20in x 16in canvas print of their photograph.
