A Wharfedale children’s centre granted a reprieve from closure is looking for ideas to help keep the service running long term.
It was recently confirmed Menston and Burley Children’s Centre would continue to be run with the same level of services for a further year, following a campaign to keep it open amid Bradford Council cutbacks.
The advisory board behind the centre says it gives them time to work on meaningful plans for the future.
In a statement this week, the board said: “Changes will have to take place as future cuts in finance are inevitable.
“In order to continue to offer a high-quality service with qualified and experienced staff, the advisory board will have to be creative and identify potential sources of income generation.
"This could be anything from hiring out the centre’s facilities for birthday parties to running holiday clubs.”
It is asking for suggestions from the public.
Anyone who would like to help, make a suggestion, or find out more, is asked to contact the centre via Facebook.
