A Rawdon air conditioning company which has fought back from a massive blaze has opened a new office in Dubai.
Airedale International is planning to rebuild its Rawdon factory which was devastated by the fire in September. The company, which celebrates its 40th anniversary this year, has moved to temporary premises in Leeds, but has continued to trade and has vowed to bounce back stronger than ever.
Airedale opened its Moscow office just weeks after the fire and has now officially established its gateway to the Middle East following a launch event at its Dubai Airport Freezone office in February.
The event was attended by more than 40 customers and international business partners from the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Kuwait, Bahrain and further afield.
Airedale managing director Clive Parkman said: “We were delighted to welcome so many of our partners from the region and to pool our ideas about the business opportunities that exist in the area. The significant investment that the region will see over the next few years will have a very positive impact on Airedale’s business, as we are called on to design and supply cooling systems to support data centre, communications and other infrastructure needs.
“The timing is perfect and will play a major role in helping us achieve our significant growth plans and cement our position within the global marketplace.”
