Otley residents are being asked to nominate anyone who has done something outstanding for the town in the last year.
Otley Town Council would like to receive suggestions for both the under and over-18 categories of its Annual Achievement Awards by Friday, March 14. The awards aim to recognise individuals who gave “significant service” to Otley – whether it be in the fields of academia, music, sport, art, community projects or enterprise – during 2013. Nominations can be made by sending details by e-mail to community@otleytowncouncil.gov.uk or dropping off the information at the Otley Core Resource Centre, on Orchard Gate.
The nominees will be considered by a full meeting of the town council, who will vote for the winners, later this month.
The awards will be presented at the Annual Parish Meeting in May.
