A stadium feature that has been part of Otley Rugby Club’s history for eight decades was demolished this week.
The Scratching Shed at the club’s Cross Green ground, which the players have been running through to reach the pitch since the 1930s, was declared structurally unsound following an annual inspection.
As a result the club announced in January that it had decided to have the shed removed.
Standing at the Chevin end of Cross Green, the Scratching Shed also offered fans an opportunity to shelter from the rain.
