Otley’s Town Mayor is calling on residents to nominate candidates for this year’s Honorary Citizenship awards.
Councillor Pam Gill (Lab, Manor) would like to hear about anyone who has given outstanding service to the local community over an extended period of time.
She said: “Honorary Citizenship is the highest acknowledgement that the town can give to those who have performed exceptional, committed service to the community for a period of many years.
“The list of Honorary Citizens is distinguished and only those who have provided exemplary service achieve such status.”
Nominations should be made in the form of a supporting letter and sent to: The Executive Officer, Otley Town Council, Otley Core Resource Centre, Unit 11 Orchard Gate, Otley, LS21 3NX. Nominations must be received by noon on Friday, March 10.
