Burley residents are all invited to an event about the Burley Neighbourhood Plan on Friday, March 7, from 6pm to 9pm, and Saturday, March 8, from 9.30am to 3.30pm, in the Queen's Hall, Burley.

This is a chance for the local community to tell the parish council where new housing should go in the village, how the character of Burley should be preserved, what new recreational facilities should be considered and what additional open space should be incorporated into the parish over the next 15 years.

Parish councillors will be at the meetings to hear views, go over the exhibition and listen to advice for the future.

Councillor Stuart Bottomley invited everyone to attend. “Burley belongs to the people of Burley and we want you to tell the parish council how we should plan for the next 15 years,” he said.

“We need your views and help at the start of the neighbourhood plan process. Come along and tell us what you want.”
