Scott Thwaites from Burley-in-Wharfedale
Burley-in-Wharfedale cyclist Scott Thwaites has moved a step closer to realising his dream of riding in the Tour de France.
Scott, pictured right on a training ride in the Yorkshire Dales, is hopeful of getting a place on this year’s Tour after his team, NetApp Endura, were given a wild card by race organisers.
Scott, who is a member of Ilkley Cycling Club, has twice won the Otley Grand Prix, in 2011 and 2012.
