Organisers say there were 350 guests at the Ilkley Holly Ball at the Craiglands Hotel on Saturday.
The glittering night raised £7,500 – over £1,000 more than expected.
Chris Woodhead, Ilkley-based organiser and director of Advanced Actuators in Silsden, said: “A huge thank you to everyone who offered their support in making this one of the best Holly Balls yet.
“We have already had people wanting to book tables for next year.”
Mr Woodhead added: “We are absolutely delighted to have raised the sort of funds that will make a real difference to local children and families supported by the Principle Trust.”
