Police have released CCTV images of a man wanted in connection with a serious assault at a Horsforth pub.

A 46 year old man received serious injuries, including a fractured skull, when he was punched to the ground as he was leaving the Kings Arms on Sunday, January 5.

The incident happened at the Town Street inn at about 1.25am and police believe the attack was linked to the victim intervening in an argument between two customers shortly beforehand.

The suspect, pictured above, was white, between 5ft 7ins and 5ft 9ins tall, and aged in his late thirties. He was described as having a slim waist with a large chest and arms and had short dark hair in a messy style, and was clean shaven.

He was wearing a beige jumper and blue jeans, and is believed to be a regular customer at the pub.
